SHIPPING & POLICIES

Domestic Shipping Policy

Products are shipped within the “continental” United States via United Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail, which normally average 2 to 3 days delivery or by way of United Parcel Service (UPS) ground transportation unless otherwise noted.

Please verify that the shipping address you entered on the online shopping cart system is correct before checkout. Customers who do not provide a correct shipping address will be responsible for the additional charges required for reshipping the order. Furthermore, orders that are undeliverable for incorrect information will be charged with the appropriate shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee. Therefore, recipients should make sure that their shipping information is correct and there is someone available to receive the order.

Note: If a customer prefers a different shipping method than that of United States Postal Service Priority Mail (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS) ground transportation, we will try to accommodate their request.

Confirmed Address

For the customer’s protection, unless previously negotiated, we ship only to the buyers confirmed address as verified against the credit card billing address maintained by the buyer’s credit card company.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Typically, the shopping cart system automatically calculates shipping charges on online orders as a percentage of the subtotal, not on the weight of the items. Therefore, if a discrepancy regarding the shipping fees should occur when circumstances regarding the total weight of an order apply, these shipping costs must be calculated and added to your order in accords with the terms and conditions defined in our payment policy. Our payment policy clearly specifies that orders be accepted with full payment in advance and with an amount sufficient to cover shipping and handling costs.

Since shipping charges vary by product/order total, customers providing an email address will receive along with delivery tracking information (UPS only).

Overdue Delivery

If your shipment is overdue, please send an email to orders@autotechfire.com.

Packaging

All orders are processed and shipped from Auto-Tech Fire Systems in packaging or priority mailing boxes supplied by the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Returns

You must notify us concerning a problem within six days of receiving the order. Returns must be in saleable condition or no refund will be issued. A refund check will be sent for the cost of the item, minus shipping charges. There will be a 15% restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees. Auto-Tech Fire Systems is not responsible for packages damaged in transit. You may buy insurance for any shipment. Please make sure what you are buying is what you need.

Auto-Tech Fire Systems is not responsible for storage of any products or materials. Quoted or acknowledged delivery dates are only estimated dates of delivery. Auto-Tech Fire Systems disclaims any liability for delays or any consequential damages or loses during shipment.

If a customer fails to accept delivery or pick up a product within 60 days from shipping date, Auto-Tech Fire System has the right to sell, dispose of, or use any such products in any way the company chooses.



In the case of a fire, according to the Ohio fire code, for an employee to be allowed to use a fire extinguisher, they must have (click a letter):

A. Been trained by a licensed & certified instructor.

B. Read the manual supplied with the extinguisher.

C. Been trained by another employee.

D. None of the above, in case of an emergency, anyone can use the extinguisher.
